03 December 2021 – The GS FAME Accounting & Finance Club organized a Virtual Visit to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) last Friday, 3 December 2021 (from 2-4 PM, Jakarta Time) via Zoom Meeting. Ms. Ira Shintiya Rahayu and Ms. Aisyah from IDX presented a video featuring the up-to-date digital facilities like the ‘Yuk Nabung Saham’ Interactive Wall offered by IDX to those who will visit the stock exchange. Ms. Aisyah presented a lecture about the Capital Market in Indonesia and she also emphasized the importance of investment in financial securities like stocks and bonds for students to have other source of income in the future. She discussed the different types of investments traded in IDX, tips for people who wants to invest in securities, and she also explained the procedures for people to start investing in IDX.During the open forum, the student participants asked interesting questions and all the queries were answered clearly by Ms. Aisyah and Ms. Ira. The participants of the online study tour left the virtual visit with better understanding of the Capital Market in Indonesia and the importance of investing in stocks. was concluded with the participants. The event was made possible by the GS FAME Accounting and Finance Club’s president, Radhika and through the support of the GS FAME Student Council.
